Who we are…

The Bright Beginnings Infant Mortality Reduction Program is an extension of Access to Wholistic and Productive Living Institute Incorporated (ATWPLI).  ATWPLI, a certified access service community health resource provider, is a tax-exempt 501(C) 3, non-profit organization in Prince George’s County, Maryland, aiming to reduce health disparities and improve the health status of populations that are disproportionately affected by health and social inequities.

Bright Beginnings seeks to address adverse pregnancy outcomes including infant mortality, low birth weight, and other maternal pregnancy complications. The overall goal is to reduce poor pregnancy outcomes among low income, under served, Prince George’s women and their newborns.
